MUPH rallies support for Chelsea Manalo in Miss Universe 2024 polls
Riding on Michelle Marquez Dee’s phenomenal campaign in last year’s Miss Universe pageant, the Miss Universe Philippines organization (MUPH) is inviting Filipinos to display the “Bayanihan” spirit once again for Chelsea Manalo.
“PHILIPPINES, LETS UNITE FOR OUR QUEEN! [stars emoji]” MUPH posted on social media on Sunday, Nov. 3, with a photograph of Manalo in the gown she sported at the preliminary competition during the national pagent, with an image of the Philippine flag behind her.
“It’s time for another Bayanihan Voting to take CHELSEA MANALO a step closer to our 5th crown! [five crown emojis]” MUPH continued. The campaign last year propelled Dee to the top of the popular vote race and the voting for national costume.
Her popularity also transcended to her campaign for the “Voice for Change” initiative, where she discussed her work for autism awareness and inclusion. She eventually became one of the three “gold finalists” alongside the delegates from Puerto Rico and Angola. Dee finished in the Top 10 of the final competition.
MUPH is also campaigning for Chelsea’s bids in both the popular vote and ‘Voice for Change,” where she is training the spotlight on the plight of the children of overseas Filipino workers.
