Kylie Padilla pens heartfelt letter to her sons: ‘Konting tiis na lang’
Kylie Padilla penned a heartfelt handwritten letter to her sons, Alas and Axl, as she reminded them to have a little more patience while attending to her work and leaving them for a while.
The celebrity mom recently took to Instagram to share handwritten exchanges between her and her kids.
“I love you, mama, in the whole world and universe. Be okay [at] work,” read one of the handwritten letters.
Padilla, in a heartwarming response, told her sons that they are always in her thoughts as she attends to her work.
“Hi babies! Mama misses you. Always thinking of you. Behave kayo ha ‘wag kayo mag-aaway (Behave, don’t fight). ‘Wag niyo sigawan mga yaya niyo (Don’t yell at your nannies). Konting tiis na lang sa work ni mama (Just be patient with mom’s work). Bili kayo food niyo (Buy your food). I love you,” she wrote, enclosing P500 in her letter.

In the comments section, netizens expressed their appreciation for Padilla for the sacrifices she’s making for her children as a working mom.
“Always proud of you, Kylie. Your kids will always remember how good and great you are. The sacrifice you made for them will truly be paid off one day,” wrote one netizen.
“You are a great woman, mother, and actress. My nanay (mother) used to leave a letter for us, also working mom din sya. Palagi may “ito pambili ng pagkain” wag mag aaway (always saying here’s money for food, don’t fight),” pitched in another netizen.
Last month, the “Encantadia” actress shared a video of her and her two sons as they happily posed for the camera. Padilla said that it’s her way of taking the time to celebrate her kids on National Children’s Month.
Padilla is currently on a co-parenting set-up with her ex-husband actor Aljur Abrenica, who is now dating actress AJ Raval.
Padilla, who’s now rumored to be dating tattoo artist Jinno John Simon, also crushed a netizen’s hope of her getting back together with Abrenica as she affirmed that she and her children are “good” by themselves.
In 2023, Abrenica confessed in an interview that he had cheated on Padilla.
Padilla and Abrenica dated for six years before tying the knot in 2018. They confirmed their separation to the public in 2021.
