Vina Morales reveals breakup with non-showbiz BF

Vina Morales revealed that she is currently single, saying her previous relationship with her American boyfriend Andrew Kovalcin “did not work out.”

“Right now, I am not in a relationship but I am happy,” the actress-performer said in an interview on Monday, Oct. 14, for her upcoming concert.

“I am not lonely. I’m content maski walang personal life na gano’n,” she continued. “Well there’s always somebody for you, but maybe at this point in my life, hindi sila ‘yung priority ko.”

Morales further disclosed that the breakup happened more than three months ago, optjng not to share specific details about it. The actress also noted that she is still open to being in a relationship in the future.

“It just so happened that things didn’t work out. It’s also hard when you’re with somebody who’s far away. ‘Yung LDR na ganyan, it won’t work—I’m talking about myself,” she stated.

“I always believe na there’s someone for you. At this time, wala pa… I’m very optimistic that I’ll find someone who’s really for me. Right now kasi, okay lang ako na wala,” she added.

Morales and Kovalcin had dated since 2022. In a 2023 interview, Morales disclosed that she first met Kovalcin in Hawaii 21 years ago, and that the two of them just reunited during her 2022 US concert tour.
