Dani Barretto bonds with Legaspi family sans dad Kier at baby shower

Dani Barretto was treated to a baby shower by her mom Marjorie Barretto and sister Julia Barretto, and among those who celebrated with them were her grandmother Hershey Legaspi and cousin Cassy Legaspi.
Dani gave a glimpse of the bear-themed celebration and its attendees through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Dani’s siblings Julia, Claudia, Leon, Erich as well as Julia’s actor boyfriend Gerald Anderson were all present at the event.
It was also revealed during the baby shower that Dani’s second child will be named Riley James.
“To our Dearest Riley James, everyone is so excited to meet you! We’re counting the days til we finally get to hold you in our arms,” Dani said in the caption. “We love you so much!”
Addressing Marjorie and Julia, Dani continued, “Thank you for throwing us a baby shower! We felt so loved! Everything was so chic [and] dreamy. I love you guys so much!”
Article continues after this advertisementIn one of the photos, Dani and her husband Xavi Panlilio were all smiles while beside Hershey, Cassy, Maggie Legaspi, Brandon Legaspi and a few more family members from the Legaspi clan.

“Thank you to our family [and] friends who celebrated [and] spent their Sunday with us! We love you guys!” Dani stated.

Dani and Panlilio got married in a church wedding in April 2019. In September of the same year, the couple welcomed their firstborn Millie. The pair announced Dani’s pregnancy with their second child last June.
Meanwhile, Dani and Kier, as per the latter’s December 2023 interview, have not been in communication for a long time. Nonetheless, Kier underscored that he’s open to reconciling with Dani and that he’s just waiting for her to reach out to him.
“Naghabol ako simula nung bata ‘yan hanggang tumanda na ‘yan at nagkaroon ng anak, pero katulad nung sinabi ko, paano kayo magkikita kung ‘yung hinahabol mo ay tumatakbo naman ng papalayo? ‘Yung hinahanap mo tago naman nang tago?” he said at the time.
“Magulang ako. Mamahalin ko lang ‘yung anak ko, gano’n lang kasimple—kahit anong mangyari,” he added.
