P-pop powerhouse SB19 took fans on a trip down memory lane as they looked back on the milestones and heartbreaks that they went through during their “Pagtatag!” era in a trailer for their upcoming documentary film.

The five-member group shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their backstage preparations, promotional activities, interactions, and other unforgettable moments, as seen in a trailer uploaded on their YouTube channel on Thursday, August 15.

“Sa ‘Pagtatag!’ hindi lang album ang pina-plano namin. Ang goal namin ay makilala ang SB19 all over the world (In ‘Pagtatag!’ We’re not just planning for an album. We have a goal for SB19 to be known all over the world),” Pablo said in a voiceover, referring to their second EP of the same name.

Meanwhile, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin touched on how they wanted a more “global” approach for their album, concert, and other related promotions.

The trailer then shifted to the cancellation of the Singapore, Thailand, and Dubai legs of SB19’s “Pagtatag!” tour, as well as a peek into the ownership rights issue with their former agency. Several news outlets covering the topics were also seen.

“I risked everything, my studies, just to pursue this. And now, magsa-start na naman kami from zero (we might need to start again from zero),” Ken said in a voiceover. “Sa lahat ng mga bagay, ang experience mo ang tutulong sa’yo (In anything we do, it’s your own experience that will help you through).”

Touching on their past experiences, Pablo, Josh, Stell, and Justin pointed out that their past hardships are a step towards “nurturing their dreams” and how these made them stronger.

SB19 confirmed that a documentary film revolving around their “Pagtatag!” era was in the works last May during their “Pagtatag!” finale concert.

The documentary film will be released in theaters on August 28.
