Adele confirms she’s engaged to sports agent Rich Paul

Singer-songwriter Adele confirmed she’s engaged to her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, during a concert in Munich, Germany, on Friday, Aug. 9.
In a viral video uploaded on social media by several members of the concert audience, the pop singer is shown responding to a fan asking for her hand in marriage, “I can’t marry you; I’m already getting married,” as she waves her ring finger, eliciting huge screams from the crowd.
Adele recently became the center of engagement rumors after she was spotted last month wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring while out with Paul in London.
Over the years, the “Easy on Me” singer has been subtly responding to marriage and engagement rumors with her beau.
“You can’t marry me; I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight; he’s here,” she told a female fan at a concert in Las Vegas in September last year.
After two months, Adele then again hinted at marriage with Paul after she yelled “I did!” when comedian Alan Carr asked his audience if anyone had recently gotten married.
The “Someone Like You” singer and Paul made their first public appearance together in 2021 after stepping out to watch the NBA finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.
Shortly after, a source confirmed to People Magazine that the two were an item and had been dating for “a few months” since their first public sighting.

During her CBS special with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, titled “Adele One Night Only,” Adele opened up for the first time about her relationship with Paul.
“He’s just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny; he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does,” she said at the time.
In 2022, the “Hello” singer admitted that she was utterly in love with Paul and opened up to the idea of building a family with him.
“I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him,” Adele told Elle Magazine. “I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”
Adele shares 11-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, while Paul is dad to three children: daughter Reonna and sons Richie and Zane.
