Fifth Solomon lamented the recent reports of abuse in show business, and revealed he also became a victim of an executive show producer’s “power trip” when he was just a minor.

The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum, without naming anyone in particular, spoke about his unfortunate experience through a series of tweets on his X page on Friday, Aug. 9.

“Ang daming pang-aabuso sa showbiz world ah. Naalala ko lang nung 17 years old pa ako, sumali ako sa isang reality show,” he began. “‘Di pa ako out bilang gay guy. Takot pa sa mundong mapanghusga. ‘Yung baklang executive producer don sa show na power trip, pinilit ako paaminin na bakla sa harap ng maraming contestants/cast ng show.”

“Sobrang hiyang-hiya ako nun. Nanliit. Menor de edad ako at walang magulang na mapagsusumbungan,” he said. “May kirot yon hanggang ngayon. Kapwa bakla mo pinipilit ka paamin sa harap ng marami.”

Solomon added that even before he exited the “talent show,” the producer, in front of the camera, tried to out him again.

“Di ako umamin. Takot pa ako no’n eh,” he recalled. “Trauma kaya hanggang ngayon naalala ko pa din ‘yon kasi sabi nga nila, di mo malilimutan ‘yung mga pangyayari, salita na may lubos na pinaramdam sayo at sa pagkatao mo.”

The actor-director then recounted coming out during his stint as a “PBB” housemate, admitting he had done so because he grew tired of people asking if he is gay.

“Kaya thankful din naman ako sa ‘PBB’ family ko for giving a platform sa akin at sa pag-handle ng gender issue ko nung panahon na yon,” he underscored. “Ang laking tinik ang nabunot sa akin.”

“Kaya ngayon bad bitch na ako eh,” he quipped, adding that he wants to meet the unnamed show producer again and do a “death drop” in front of him.

Leaving a reminder to the public, Solomon said, “Kaya never out some. Never force them. Wala kang karapatan magdesisyon sa kasarian ng isang tao.”

“Wag nating sabihin na ‘magpakatotoo ka nalang kasi’ dahil hindi naman madaling magpakatotoo sa mundong ayaw ang totoo,” he added. “Pero magpakatotoo ka lang sa oras na nais mo. Mundo ang mag adjust sa ganda mo.”
