Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant resumes call for applicants after skipping a year
The Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant has made a new call for applicants, suggesting that a competition will finally take place in 2024, almost two years since last staging a contest in 2022.
“SAAN KA MUTYA?” the national pageant organization posted on social media to invite ladies to its 56th anniversary edition. “A new dawn awaits as you represent your #Hometown at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2024 Pageant,” it added.
This year’s competition will be the 52nd edition of the second-longest-running national pageant in the country. The 51st edition was held in December 2022, mounted after a two-year pandemic pause.
