Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the first day of construction of their new family home.

The couple, in their casual clothes, led the event in an undisclosed location, as seen on their respective Instagram pages on Friday, July 5.

Aside from their new home, Mercado and Trillo have a “mountain hideaway” in Rizal, a container house which the couple described as their “dream project.” Its construction started in 2021 and was finished in 2023.

The couple also owns a home in Las Vegas Valley, Southern Nevada, in the United States. Last February, Mercado revealed that they bought the property because their family plans to move abroad once she and Trillo decide to retire from show business.
