Vanessa Hudgens gives birth to first child; slams paparazzi for leaking photos
Vanessa Hudgens announced that she has given birth to her first child with husband Cole Tucker, at the same time calling out the paparazzi who leaked her photos as she and her baby were leaving the hospital.
On her Instagram Story, the “High School Musical” actress said she was disappointed that her privacy was invaded.
“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long-lens camera feeding the media,” she wrote on July 5 (Philippine time).
“Despite all that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy,” added the singer-actress.
On July 3, TMZ and Page Six released photos of Hudgens in a wheelchair carrying her newborn child as they left the hospital.

“That’s why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age,” she expressed.
Hudgens and Tucker tied the knot in December 2023 in a private ceremony, and the 35-year-old actress described the wedding as “magical.”
“It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life,” she told USA Today. “I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone’s phones away.”
Meanwhile, Hudgens’ former co-star and ex-boyfriend Zac Efron had earlier reacted to her and actress Ashley Tisdale’s pregnancy.
“They’re going to be the best moms ever,” he said. “Those girls, are you kidding me? We’re going to have some fun family reunions coming up.”
Hudgens and Efron starred in “High School Musical” and dated from 2005 to 2010.
