Zac Efron reacts to Vanessa Hudgens’ pregnancy, teases reunion
Zac Efron hinted at the possibility of a “High School Musical” reunion as he congratulated his former co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, who are both pregnant.
Speaking with Access Hollywood, the “Baywatch” actor was asked about her female co-stars being pregnant at the same time, for which he expressed enthusiasm.
“They’re going to be the best moms ever,” he said. “Those girls, are you kidding me? We’re going to have some fun family reunions coming up.”
Hudgens and Efron dated from 2005 to 2010, when they were doing “High School Musical.”
The 35-year-old singer-actress is expecting her first child with Cole Tucker and debuted her baby bump during the Oscars red carpet in March.

“I always thought I would be married at 25 because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Oh, okay, so we’re just going to shift everything back a bit,'” she told the outlet.
“I always thought that around 36 or 37, I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it,” she added.
Meanwhile, Tisdale is expecting her second child and announced it on Instagram in the same month that Hudgens revealed her pregnancy.
“We are so happy, excited, and grateful for this new little blessing. Thank you so much for all the kind words of love and support from everyone; we feel it all and appreciate it,” Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, wrote.
In May, Hudgens shared her excitement when she was asked about Tisdale’s pregnancy.
“It’s very cool!” she said, per Entertainment Tonight. “I’m so excited for her and this new chapter in her life.”
“It’s amazing! I mean, it’s really incredible, when you reach a new point in your life, how women show up. And, like, new women have been showing up in ways that I haven’t expected,” added the actress.
