Nikko Natividad says he doesn’t regret opinion on “It’s Showtime” hullabaloo

After giving his two cents on the viral “beso” issue concerning “EXpecially for You” on “It’s Showtime,” Nikko Natividad penned another statement to say that “he doesn’t regret” standing up for the contestants as he is only “trying to help make the situation better.”
On his Facebook and Instagram pages, the former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate remarked that he’s aware of the comments of those who want him removed from his work, following his opinion on the “It’s Showtime” brouhaha.
“For the last time, na magsasalita ako tungkol sa nakaraan kong post. Unang una sa lahat, hindi ako nagsisisi na nagsalita ako ng sarili kong saloobin. Hindi ako nagsisisi na ipagtanggol ang ibang tao. Nababasa ko mga komento nyo saken at ang gusto nyo mawalan ako ng trabaho dahil lang sa naglabas ako ng sarili kong saloobin. (Na alam ko na posibleng mangyari),” he wrote.

The “I’m Not Big Bird” actor asserted that he only wanted to help and not initiate any fight by sharing his opinion, adding that the reason he deleted his post is because it was the management’s order.

Natividad pitched in on the topic by sympathizing with the contestants, saying “he knows what it feels like to be humiliated on television,” as “It’s Showtime” made headlines recently after the hosts called out searchee Axel for seemingly attempting to kiss searcher Christine.
After the incident went viral, the hosts, led by Vice Ganda, aired their statement that they would not apologize for what they did, as it was “the right thing to do,” as they revealed that Christine had admitted to them that she “felt” uncomfortable with Axel’s gesture, contrary to her initial statement on TikTok.
After the “It’s Showtime” hosts aired their sentiments, a video of Christine crying surfaced on TikTok as she lamented that the show “made her appear as a liar,” explaining that her statements were not contradictory to each other.
