Francine Diaz invited to first Asia Star Entertainer Awards in Japan

Francine Diaz could not contain her excitement after she was invited to attend the first-ever Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) which will be held in Japan.

Diaz announced her attendance in the awarding ceremony through a video on her Instagram page on Monday, April 8. The event will be held in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 10.

“I’m so happy and excited to attend the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024 to be held at Yokohama Arena in Japan,” she said. “Let’s enjoy the wonderful performances of our favorite K-pop sensations.”

The ASEA is as an awarding event “where top artists representing Asia will perform and unite fans from all over the world through music,” as per its website.

Among the artists who will be present at the event are K-pop groups Tomorrow X Together, Treasure, Stray Kids, The Boyz, and J-pop groups NiziU, NCT Wish and JO1.

The red-carpet event will start at 3:30 p.m., and the awarding ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Diaz earlier released her collaboration song with Korean singer-actor Seo In-guk entitled “My Love,” which was composed and written by the latter together with Pak Kyung-hyun and Mo Sang-hoon.

The song’s official music video, released on the actress’ YouTube channel, has garnered over 42,000 likes and over 400,000 views as of this writing.
