Sharon Cuneta suffers leg pain for over a month now, undergoes therapy
Sharon Cuneta gave her fans a health update and said that she has been undergoing physical therapy because her leg is still in pain and limping for more than a month now.
“I’ve done two sessions with my physical therapist, plus acupuncture [and] cupping,” she shared via her Instagram page on Tuesday, Feb. 13, expressing regret that she was not able to attend the recent concert of fellow singer Pops Fernandez.
“I still haven’t stopped limping. Ayoko naman po magpakita sa lahat ng umiika-ika pa rin (I don’t want to be seen limping by the public),” she added, noting that the only time she left her house was when she attended the wake of the late Deo Endrinal, and when she bonded with her Sotto family.
Despite this, Cuneta said she enjoys staying in bed with her laptop, having the rest she needs.
“Every single day for longer than a whole month now, I have been in pain. Baka po mag-alala kayo (You may be worried), please don’t worry! Basta tuloy lang PT, lilipas din ito,” she assured her fans. (As long as I undergo physical therapy, this will be okay soon.)

Fans and fellow celebrities sent their well-wishes for Cuneta, with Fernandez stressing that the Megastar’s health is more important than her attendance at the latter’s show.
Cuneta earlier appealed for prayers while she was awaiting the results of her magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She also disclosed that some aspects of her body’s condition had worsened.
