Miss Universe PH 2020 bet cries for justice after car accident involving drunk driver
Beauty queen-model Christelle Abello cried for justice as she spoke about how her “life stopped” after the March road accident she figured in due to a drunk driver.
Abello, a Top 16-finalist at the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines pageant, gave an account of the incident while showing a video compilation of her life prior to suffering from injuries, as seen on her Instagram page last Thursday, Nov. 9.
“About 8 months ago, on Sunday, March 19, I woke up at 4 a.m. to head to a 10k fun run marathon to celebrate Women’s History Month. [Five] minutes after getting into my Grab in BGC, I was T-boned by a Suzuki Jimny driver with so much force that both my [driver] and I were knocked out unconscious,” she recalled.
“It wasn’t until I was awakened by the paramedics that I realized that I had been involved in a serious car accident that caused me to suffer from multiple fractures and facial lacerations,” she continued.
Abello also added the hashtags “Justice for Christelle,” “Don’t drink and drive,” “Don’t risk it,” and “Stop drunk driving,” and concluded her post with the note: “My life [stopped] that day. Day and night, I pray for legal justice for what that reckless driver did to me.”
