Shane Bernabe named ‘The Voice Kids’ season five winner
Shane Bernabe of Team Bamboo Mañalac, also known as Kamp Kawayan among fans, emerged as the winner of “The Voice Kids” season five.
The 12-year-old singer bested two other finalists before being proclaimed champion of the singing competition last Sunday, May 21, as seen in an announcement shared on its official Twitter page.

During the show’s finals night, Bernabe was proclaimed as the winner over Xai Martinez from KZ Tandingan’s team and Rai Fernandez from Martin Nievera’s team.
Article continues after this advertisementThe Laguna-based singer brought the audience to its feet after performing a rendition of the song “Sino Ang Baliw” by Mon Del Rosario. She will take home a recording contract from UMG Philippines and ₱1 million in cash.
Article continues after this advertisementMoments after Bernabe’s win, Mañalac took to his Instagram account to express his gratitude to fans for supporting the young songstress. This marks the second time the singer’s bet was named as the winner.
