Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun are on a desperate quest for revenge against their abusers in the teasers for part two of the hit K- drama “The Glory,” set to premiere on March 10.

Hye-kyo returns as the vengeful former victim of bullying Moon Dong-eun, while Lee Do-hyun takes on the role of the mysterious Joo Yeo-jeong for the second time, as seen in the first batch of stills for the series’ second season uploaded on Netflix Korea’s official Instagram page on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

“March 10th, the day where a beautiful desperate revenge begins again,” Netflix Korea’s caption read.

Among the teasers show Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) in tears, Yeo-jeong (Lee Do-hyun) staring at the tragic heroine intensely, and Park Yeon-jin (Lim Ji-yeon) taking on a mysterious phone call.

According to a report from Korean media outlet News1, director Ahn Gil-ho said Part 2 will be filled with “excitement, intensity, and satisfying” moments including the fight between Dong-eun and Yeon-jin.

“The story of the perpetrators getting punished will be told in a dynamic way that will have your eyes glued to the screen. All the loose ends will be tied up,” he said in the report.

“The Glory” revolves around Moon Dong-eun who was a victim of bullying and school violence as a teen. Eighteen years later, she becomes determined to seek revenge against her former tormentors who moved on with their lives. The first part premiered in December 2022.

Hye-kyo is best known for her hit K-dramas “Descendants of the Sun,” “That Winter, the Wind Blows,” “Full House,” “Autumn in my Heart,” and “Encounter,” among others. “The Glory” marks the second time that Hye-kyo worked with screenwriter Kim Eun-sook since “Descendants” in 2016.

Do-hyun, on the other hand, gained widespread popularity for his roles in “Youth of May,” “18 Again,” and “Sweet Home.” EDV
