Korean actress Yoo Ju-eun passes away at 27

Yoo Ju-eun has died at the age of 27, her older brother confirmed by sharing her last words to the public through the actress’ Instagram page today, Aug. 29.

The South Korean actress, who took her own life, left a note which her brother made public to grant her last wish, as reported by Korean entertainment website Allkpop, also today. The actress started her message with an apology to her loved ones, assuring them that she will be watching over them.

“You may feel void without me but please stay strong,” she wrote.

Yoo Ju-eun stressed that she is “very calm” and “not sad at all,” adding that she was content with the life she lived.

“This is enough. So please don’t blame anyone and move on,” part of her note also stated.

Yoo Ju-eun also spoke about how it had not been easy for her to pursue acting, which she regarded as her “everything” and “a part of her.” She then expressed gratitude to those who supported her and those who she experienced life with.

“I think I lived a successful life because I’m taking unforgettable memories till the end…” she added. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be more expressive but I hope you’d understand.”

Yoo Ju-eun starred in the Korean TV series “Big Forest” (2018), where she made her acting debut, as well as “Joseon Survival Period” (2019). Her funeral will be held on Aug. 31. JB
