Changing of the guard uncovers skeletons in the closet
There’s something about change—like the recent national elections—that either discombobulates or challenges the status quo. A Not-so-little Birdie (NB) told Rushes that the recent power shift has since revealed some not-so-flattering secrets and unethical practices in a group as a result of the unexpected changing of the guard. Talk about skeletons in the closet!
In one agency, for instance, Well-meaning Newcomers (WN) are said to be looking into a list of personalities who have been handsomely “reimbursed” for their “enabling” support and loyalty to the Big Boss (BB), revealing a troubling culture of corruption that includes even some prominent names.
To say the least, we were shookt when NB singled out some familiar names on the aforesaid list, but we have to wait for WN to do their work and trust that they get to the bottom of the issue before we can fully talk about this fascinating development. What we know so far is troubling, indeed, but there certainly are processes we can’t preempt.
Meanwhile, we think it’s time for the “regular recipients” on that list to start shaking in their boots. Bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan… well, you know the rest.
