Miss World Philippines names top 10 finalists in top model competition

Miss World Philippines has revealed the top 10 finalists for its top model competition ahead of the 2022 edition’s coronation night.
The Miss World Philippines organization (MWPH) announced the top model competition’s top 10 while showing photos of the finalists on its Instagram page today, June 3. This was first announced during the MWPH Charity Gala Night last Wednesday, June 1, as seen on MWPH’s Facebook page, also today.
Those who emerged as finalists in the top model challenge are:
- Patricia McGee (Zambales)
- Alison Black (Las Pinas City)
- Cassandra Chan (San Juan City)
- Aliana Joaquin (Bacoor City)
- Beatriz McLleland (Aklan)
- Gwendolyne Fourniol (Negros Occidental)
- Paula Ortega (Albay)
- Ingrid Santamaria (Paranaque City)
- Ashley Montenegro (Makati City)
- Carla Manuel (Manila)
The winner of the top model competition, who will be revealed during the pageant’s coronation night, was judged based on modeling skills (50%), beauty (25%), and elegance and sophistication (25%). Given that the top model competition is a fast-track event, she will earn a spot in the pageant’s top 16.

MWPH candidates recently flaunted their beauty as Santacruzan queens in the pageant’s national costume competition, whose top 11 finalists were revealed last May 26. Meanwhile, the top 10 finalists for the “Beauty with a Purpose” challenge was announced last May 29.
Reigning Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez will crown her successor at the coronation night this coming Sunday, June 5, at the Mall of Asia Arena. The pageant’s 36 candidates will be vying for four crowns: Miss World Philippines, Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas. /ra
