WATCH: Ben&Ben surprises newlywed couple, sings ‘Paninindigan Kita’ at reception

Ben&Ben made a couple’s wedding day even more special with a surprise performance of their new single “Paninindigan Kita” during the reception.
The folk pop band went to the wedding reception of one Rica Detiquez and her husband Von Leroi Santelices, and performed in front of the guests, as seen on Ben&Ben’s Facebook page yesterday, May 29. The couple, shocked by the band’s appearance, grooved to the song while also cheering for the band.
“‘Pag mahal mo talaga ang isang tao, kaya mo siyang panindigan (When you really love a person, you will stand by them),” Ben&Ben’s Miguel Guico said during the event. “We’d like to dedicate this special performance to the both of you on this very special night.”
Detiquez also gave a glimpse of the surprise performance while calling the band the “most welcome wedding crashers,” via her Instagram page, also yesterday.
“Pagbukas na pagbukas ng ilaw, kinilabutan ako. Tulo na ng tulo yung luha ko! (I felt goosebumps as soon as the lights were turned on. My tears kept flowing!)” she stated. “BEN&BEN [I love you forever]!!!”

Meanwhile, Ben&Ben is set to have their “major sendoff concert” before they fly abroad for their United States and Canada tour. The concert will be held at the CCP Open Grounds on Sept. 3.
Aside from “Paninindigan Kita,” the folk pop band is also known for their hits such as “Leaves,” “Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay” and “Araw-Araw.” JB
