WATCH: Gelli de Belen makes surprise visit to sons in Canada

Gelli de Belen finally got to be with her sons Joaquin and Julio anew as she surprised them with a visit to Canada, where her children are studying.

De Belen gave a glimpse of her arrival at her sons’ home in Canada, as shown on her Instagram page yesterday, May 15. The actress was seen entering the door then greeting her kids with a kiss and hug.

“So I decided to surprise my boys. They had no idea I was arriving in Toronto. They thought I had work and wouldn’t be able to visit this summer,” she said. “So happy to be with my big boys.”

The mother and sons’ reunion received admiration from De Belen’s fellow celebrities Candy Pangilinan and Inah de Belen.

De Belen and her husband, singer Ariel Rivera, reunited with their sons in December last year after the couple flew to Canada in time for the holidays.

In 2019, De Belen opened up on having experienced empty nest syndrome, after Joaquin and Julio went abroad for their studies. She also admitted having gone through separation anxiety. JB
