Miss Universe PH Tourism Katrina Dimaranan bids goodbye to pageants after 10 years
Miss Universe Philippines Tourism Katrina Dimaranan has decided to end her 10-year journey in beauty pageants and move on to her “next goals.”
The beauty queen, who recently enrolled as a nursing student in California, announced this while showing moments of herself in pageants via her Instagram page last Sunday, April 24.
Dimaranan also stated that she would not be able to come home to the Philippines to pass on her title during the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant. This is due to residency issues in the United States and her focus on her nursing career.
“I do want to take this opportunity to look back at my pageant journey. From [18 years] old to now 28, my 10-year magical journey that was and is a vital part of my life,” she said.
Dimaranan noted that she met the “most amazing people” through pageants, which also taught her life lessons and to keep an open mind. She likewise recalled her memories about her pageant journey, including her victories and losses.
