Ken plays Luis, a young man coaxed by his parents into becoming a priest. In his last year in the seminary, he is given some time outside to reflect on his future. Searching for a sign, he bumps into a fierce, beautiful club entertainer named Luisa, (Rita), and accidentally foils her business arrangement with a client.
Promising to make up for Luisa’s lost income, Luis hires her to keep him company in his visit to his parents home in Pagsanjan. And because she badly needs the money, Luisa reluctantly agrees. Soon, they find themselves falling for each other, despite their contrasting backgrounds.

“I fought for this movie. Is it worth taking a risk and shelling out money in these times? But we figured that we couldn’t just wait forever; our colleagues are looking for work. So we mustered the courage to do a lock-in taping. Luckily, everything went well,” producer Harlene Bautista said. “After that, the problem was, ‘Where do we show the movie?’ But by God’s grace, we made it into the MMFF.”
