How stars celebrate 2021 holiday season amid COVID-19
How do you plan to celebrate the Christmas season to make it more meaningful despite the pandemic?
BARBIE FORTEZA
“We will just stay home with the family—that’s automatic. That’s what I grew accustomed to. Ang nagbabago lang naman ’yung ihahain sa ‘noche buena!’ And if Jak (Roberto, her boyfriend) is free on the day, I hope we can also have him over for dinner.”
GABBI GARCIA
“This Christmas, we’re hoping to do a minicelebration with my family and relatives. I would love to have my grandparents. We’re probably going to do it at home just to be safe. It has been a long while since we last saw each other. But with the protocols easing up and the alert level going down, I hope we can finally push through with it.”
KHALIL RAMOS
“My mother’s side of the family is huge. She has nine siblings, so I have a lot of cousins. We traditionally hold a big gathering to celebrate Christmas, but we haven’t done that as of late because of the pandemic. Hopefully, this year, we can find another way to celebrate while following protocols. Sure, it won’t be anything like our past celebrations, because there are still some restrictions. But at the very least, I hope to see members of my extended family. My youngest cousins have been growing up fast, and I haven’t had a chance to see them.”
