Look: Money Heist reveals ‘Plan Pilipinas’ as crew takes over several Philippine locations
Citizens of the Philippines – it seems El Profesor and his team of heisters have taken over multiple buildings in the country!
See a number of iconic scenes from the various seasons of Money Heist come to life as the crew ‘heists’ different local structures for the show’s final season.
Check out these larger-than-life visual takeovers of prime buildings and spots within the Philippines and be reminded of the crazy, memorable Money Heist scenes that you love:
At PET Plans Tower in Makati, we can find Denver laying down on a gigantic sum of cash! However, will the money really matter to him in the last five episodes of the show?
At the Venice Grand Canal Mall at McKinley Hill, Taguig, Money Heist fans are reminded of one of the most tragic moments in the series–when Tokyo said her last goodbyes to Rio through a hole on the floor.
The Fire Fountain at UPtown in BGC becomes even more visually stunning as Nairobi’s appearance reminds us all of her ability to be a fearless, empowering leader – a vital member of the team. This is best viewed every 7 pm, when the fire dance lights up her torch.
Doesn’t the Grand Eastwood Palazzo look so much like El Professor’s replica model of the Mint of Spain? It certainly seems like it, especially with El Professor himself towering over the buildings.
Look out for the waters of the Venice Grand Canal Mall as we hear that one of the show’s most golden scenes will be there. Rumor has it that El Profesor will be in the area as well at Uptown Parksuites very soon.
However, the heist doesn’t stop with our local buildings— You can also experience Money Heist via an Augmented Reality filter on Instagram which was launched on November 26. Take a trip down memory lane with virtual projections of unforgettable scenes from the series like a blimp showering money from the sky and divers swimming through a vault of gold bars.
As the final five episodes of Money Heist premiere on Netflix, we can’t help but to reminisce and look back at our most favorite moments from one of the most-watched, non-English shows on the platform. We can relive and capture those special moments when we visit the buildings the crew has taken over. Taking pictures with the sites is definitely encouraged! A gentle reminder, though, to practice social distancing and avoid gathering while visiting these sites.
Make sure to share your pictures with the sites as well as the Augmented Reality filters using the hashtags #VivaLaResistancia and #MoneyHeist!
Don’t forget to watch Money Heist Part 5 Volume 2, to be released only on Netflix this 3rd of December, 2021.
