‘Meatier’ Paul pleased by feedback on topless photo
While he thought he wasn’t in the best shape he could be, Paul Salas was pleasantly surprised that the comments about his recent topless photo shoot for a clothing brand were mostly positive.
“I’m thankful because Bench still had me despite not being in tip-top condition. I found myself eating more during lockdown. I have been trying out Dalgona coffee … everything,” he related in a recent virtual conference.
But thankfully, he said, he managed to discipline himself prior to the shoot.
“I was able to (go) on a diet. And I’m happy that fans liked my body this way: I have a bit more meat; not too thin as I was before,” said the GMA 7 actor, who celebrated his second pandemic birthday on April 16.
“I hope I could have celebrated my birthday with the people I love,” added Paul, now 23. “But I’m thankful that my family is healthy and that I have work … I hope things start getting better soon.”
