Amid COVID-19 battle, Angeline Quinto thanks Sarah Geronimo for being a thoughtful friend

Angeline Quinto had nothing but kind words for her thoughtful friend and fellow singer Sarah Geronimo as the latter checked in on her as she battles COVID-19.
Quinto, who contracted the novel coronavirus in March, shared a screenshot of Geronimo’s message asking about her health via Twitter yesterday, April 5.
“Hindi mo nakakalimutan kamusatahin ako. Lalo nung nawala ang Mama Bob. Salamat sayo, Sars (You never forget to ask how I am doing. Especially when Mama Bob passed away. Thank you, Sars),” Quinto stressed.
“[Ipinost] ko ito dahil nagpapasalamat ako na naging kaibigan kita bukod sa katrabaho. Salamat SG. Mahal Kita (I posted this because I am thankful that you became my friend aside from being a co-worker. Thank you SG. I love you),” she added.

In the said screenshot, Geronimo first texted Quinto, “Angge kamusta ikaw? Nakita ko yung vlog mo. [Mag-iingat] ka lagi (Angge, how are you? I saw your vlog. Take care always).”
Quinto then replied, “Sars good morning. Naka isolate pa ako Sars ngayon haggang April 8 (Sars, good morning. I am still in isolation now up until April 8).”
“Salamat sa pangangamusta Sars. Ang ganda ganda ng Tala concert [prayer hands emoji] Congratulations Sars at sa lahat ng bumuo,” she continued in the following text.

The pop star then thanked Quinto, who is currently in home quarantine, and told her to recover and get stronger.
In her most recent update posted on Twitter earlier today, April 6, Quinto noted that her senses of smell and taste have returned.

Quinto first disclosed that she has COVID-19 via a YouTube vlog on April 1. She reportedly got infected by sharing a meal with a person who was unknowingly positive for COVID-19 at the time. /ra
