After the release of Park Seo-joon’s recent ad for a telecommunications company, many of his Filipino fans could not help but envy his partner in the video.

One K-drama fan (@TheSarangheOppa) even joked that she needed to find out the woman’s name for her thesis, as seen on her Twitter page on Oct. 28.

“Need lang para sa thesis, che-check ko lang kung pang-ilan s’ya sa pila. [Thanks],” she said alongside a screenshot of the woman in the Smart Communications ad.

A fellow fan (@allaboutNaxYa) quickly replied and pointed out that the lucky girl is a Burmese model and actress named May Myat Noe. She also joined the fourth season of the TV reality show “Asia’s Next Top Model” in 2016.

Prior to joining the contest, Noe won the Miss Asia Pacific World pageant back in 2014.

Another fan (@Yaellaine17) reiterated how fortunate Noe was to be with Park and wished that she could meet the actor as well.

“Ang swerte naman ni Girl (The girl is so lucky),” the fan said. “Sana all.”

The day after the ad’s release, Noe expressed her gratitude to those who congratulated her for landing the job. She also shared behind-the-scenes photos of them together. Noe then addressed the South Korean star’s Filipino fans, saying, “Salamat po (Thank you).”
