Barrettos mark the late Miguel Barretto’s first birthday after passing

Sisters Claudine and Marjorie Barretto, as well as the latter’s daughters Julia and Dani, have marked the 83rd birthday of the late Miguel Barretto, who passed away in October last year.
Claudine, who could not greet her father on his birthday yesterday, Sept. 29, took to Instagram earlier today to honor Miguel and thank him for being her father.
“Yesterday was your birthday… [I didn’t] have the courage to greet [you] yesterday so l do it today instead,” Claudine said. “I want to thank [you] for being my Father. [I] will forever [and] always [love you] #doubleinfinity. Happy birthday in heaven.”

Marjorie meanwhile penned her tribute yesterday, where she said that she still misses him so much “it hurts like crazy!”
“Happy 1st birthday in Heaven, Daddy. You know what I miss most about you? I miss how much you loved my children. We miss you, your presence in every single event in our lives,” she said.
“Keep watching over us, Dad, most especially the kids, watch over them from above. We will always need you,” Marjorie added.
Julia likewise took to Instagram yesterday to greet her grandfather a happy birthday, sharing a quick throwback clip of them bonding.
“Happy birthday, my guardian angel,” Julia simply wrote.

The black-and-white video shows Julia singing happy birthday to her grandfather as they hug each other while laughing and smiling.
“Happy Birthday Pikey! I can’t believe I won’t be able to hug you so tight today. I miss you so much. We miss you so much!” Julia’s older sister, Dani, meanwhile said in a greeting to Miguel also yesterday.

“Have the best birthday in heaven, Pikey!! Eat all the ice cream and chocolate chip pancakes in the world! We’ll be here celebrating your life like always. I love you forever and ever,” the doting granddaughter said.
Miguel is a father of seven, three of whom – namely Gretchen, Claudine and Marjorie – have become showbiz personalities in the country. JB
