Moira Dela Torre to give away pre-loved electric guitar, art materials
Some lucky fans will be receiving Moira Dela Torre’s pre-loved electric guitar and art supplies, as the singer-songwriter announced her special giveaway amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The instrument Dela Torre is giving away is dear to her heart since it was her first electric guitar, which was gifted to her by her husband, Jason Marvin. Aside from the giveaway contest, she will also be selling some pre-loved items for charity, as per her Instagram post today, Aug. 15.
“At the height of everything that’s been happening, I found myself at a crossroad of feeling like I haven’t been able to give as much as I would want to and feeling anxiety rise from within me as 2020 threw us so many of its unwanted surprises,” she said.
The singer previously revealed that she had been suffering from anxiety attacks.
Dela Torre disclosed that she has begun learning to balance “helping others and taking care of my mental health.” Painting and learning to play an instrument are some of the therapeutic activities the singer discovered through the help of her cousin and her husband.
