Ai-Ai delas Alas pens birthday tribute to ‘kambal’ Marian Rivera

Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas gave a short but sweet birthday tribute to her friend and “kambal” (twin) Marian Rivera as the latter celebrates her 36th birthday today, Aug. 12.
Delas Alas took to Instagram to send her well-wishes to her fellow Kapuso artist while also offering a short photo montage video to the tune of the “Happy Birthday” song.
“Happy birthday sa aking kambal, kay kung fu divas, at ang aking kumare sa inaanak kong si ate Z na magandang kagaya ko,” delas Alas said. (Happy birthday to my twin, the other Kung Fu diva and my friend to my goddaughter [Zia Dantes] who is beautiful, just like me.)

Delas Alas also noted that while looking back at photos of them together, she realized just how long she has been friends with her “Kung Fu Divas” co-star.
The said film, released back in 2013, is an action-comedy flick written and directed by Onat Diaz and was led by the two friends.
“Madami ka [nang] na witness sa buhay ko na kung ano ano (You have witnessed all sorts of things in my life),” delas Alas quipped. “[Basta] happy birthday kambi more blessings pa sayo kahit nasayo na lahat .. have a blast GOD BLESS YOU MORE AND MORE labyu.”

Rivera’s husband and fellow Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes meanwhile celebrated his 40th birthday on Aug. 2, just over a week earlier than the actress’. JB
