“Warrior” is one of the tracks in the singer’s most recent album “Head Above Water”, released last year.

Using the tagline “We are warriors,” Lavigne dedicated the song’s re-recorded version to “all the hospital workers, postal service people, grocery store workers, police and firemen, [as well as] every single one of you who has had their world shaken” by the health crisis.

The “Sk8er Boi” singer also encouraged her fans to donate to her COVID-19 crowdfunding effort.

Lavigne is part of the long list of international acts who had to postpone their tours due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Canadian singer’s postponed concert in the Philippines was scheduled on May 20 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, as a part of her “Head Above Water” world tour. JB
