JC Santos gets to enjoy daddy duties in time of crisis

With Luzon placed under enhanced community quarantine, actor JC Santos opted to stay at home in Pampanga and fulfill his #DaddyDuties to his newborn daughter. “Afternoon probinsya air for my little sunshine,” JC said of River Altheia, his firstborn with his wife, Shyleena Herrera.

“Be safe everybody. May this break be a good opportunity for you to take good care of your family. God bless us all!” wrote the 31-year-old actor on his Instagram JC, which he usually uses only for work-related stuff. It was his first time showing his baby to the public.

In a previous interview, JC said 2019 had been one of the best years of his life. “I’m thankful to the Lord because all my dreams and prayers came true,” he said.

The past year or so saw JC doing 10 movies and two plays. And on top of that, he got to marry his high school crush and start a family. “I met again my high school crush who turned me down 15 years ago. But this time I didn’t let her go,” he said. “I have been working so hard and the blessings have been coming in.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
