QCinema grantees named

QCinema International Film Festival (QCinema) announces its three new feature film production grant winners for 2020.

Filmmakers Christian Linaban, Joseph Abello and Bebe Go will each receive a grant of P1.5 million from the Quezon City government.

Christian Linaban’s “Mga Buwak Para in Maya” is about a child cyberporn model abducted by a river monster.

Joseph Abello’s “If You’re on Fire” is about an ex-teacher who hires the student who ruined his teaching career in the ice factory he now owns.

Bebe Go’s “Gabby Silang” is about two friends navigating the world of the rich and elite.
