After around three months in prison and having already posted bail, Fliptop emcee Loonie has finally returned to social media, and his fans are excited for what is to come.

The battle rap star is ecstatic about his newly-regained freedom, and he took to Twitter yesterday, Jan. 29 to share to fans his excitement and express his gratitude. His previous tweet was posted way back in September.

“Kamusta mga tol? Dami kong kwento sa inyo. Namiss ko kayong lahat!” Loonie said. “Salamat sa inyong lahat na naniwala at hindi bumitaw. I love you all!”

Filipino battle rap fans were unsurprisingly delighted by the return of Loonie, or the “Hari ng Tugma,” as he is famously known for in the Fliptop scene.

Ang pagbabalik ng hari ng tugma. God bless sir (The return of the king of rhymes. God bless sir),” one @Hiimroi said.

“[Kainin] mo lahat ng namiss mo sa labas tapos sulat. [Welcome] back (Eat everything you missed from outside, then write),” one @DROPPOUT357 meanwhile said.

Even singer-composer Ogie Alcasid sent his well-wishes to the hip-hop artist via Twitter earlier today, Jan. 30, saying: “God bless you bro.”

Loonie and four others were accused of selling P100,000 worth of kush or high-grade marijuana to an undercover police in Makati last September. They were charged for violating sections 5 and 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, for allegedly selling and using illegal drugs.

The rapper was released from the Makati City Jail last Friday, Jan. 24 after posting a P2-million bail to gain temporary freedom, according to Bureau of Jail and Management Penology spokesperson Jail Chief Insp. Xavier Solda.
