Maureen Wroblewitz leaves ‘Eat Bulaga!’ to pursue ‘dreams, commit to projects’
TV host and model Maureen Wroblewitz confirmed that she is no longer hosting for the noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”
The 21-year-old broke the news to her fans and followers through a question-and-answer vlog on her eponymous YouTube channel last Saturday, July 6.
While answering questions from her followers on Twitter, one of her fans asked if she was still with the noontime show. Wroblewitz stated that she is no longer part of the show’s cast, and cited her upcoming projects as one of the reasons for her decision to leave.
“Ang dami kong pangarap. Ang dami kong next projects at kailangan ko talaga mag-focus, mag-commit sa mga upcoming projects ko,” she said in the video.

Wroblewitz was the first Filipina to win the reality TV show “Asia’s Next Top Model” during its fifth season, back in 2017. She joined “Eat Bulaga!” in September 2018.
For her upcoming projects, she may be hinting at a possible debut on the silver screen as she had signed up with Reality Entertainment, a production company headed by filmmaker Erik Matti and Dondon Monteverde, last April. JB
