Maui Taylor heartbroken over death of father

Maui Taylor, who just recently had her 36th birthday, is facing the milestone with a broken heart as she is faced with the death of her father.

The former Viva Hot Babe mourned the loss of her father who died last Sunday, June 30, as stated on her Instagram account. Although Taylor did not state the cause of his death, she said that her father was recently recovering from bypass surgery.

“You were okay, you even smiled for me in this photo despite the pain & stress you were going through. We were just waiting for the big day tomorrow & we were gonna bring you home & let everything go back to normal,” she said.

“We even planned on bringing you to your fave place as soon as you recovered from bypass… I didn’t know this was gonna be the last photo of us together,” Taylor added. “Pinag birthday mo lang ako (You just allowed me to celebrate my birthday) then you just left [emoji] I love you so much Dad. I will miss you.”

The former sexy star expressed her love for her father in a separate post via Instagram today, July 1. The photo showed her father smiling while sitting in a wheelchair.

“I would give anything to see you like this again. Thank you so much Dad,” Taylor said. “For all the memories, the [advice], for molding me into the person I am today.”

“Ang daya mo, sabi mo sakin (You are so unfair, you told me) ‘Maureen I will get better’ while I was feeding you your fave lugaw in the ICU. But you just went on,” she added. “Rest well now Dad. No more [pain].”

Taylor is best known as a former member of the girl group Viva Hot Babes. Her films include “S2pid Luv” (2002) and “Ang Huling Birhen sa Lupa” (2003). JB
