Actress goes on a holiday instead of promoting her movie, gives producers headache
This Vibrant Entertainer (VE) had her producers shaking their heads for prioritizing going on holiday over promoting the movie she top-billed.
The film outfit told VE in advance to block a whole month, because she needed to be present in a series of promotional events leading to her movie’s premiere.
VE said she wouldn’t be able to do all of them, because she had already booked an overseas trip and that she had already shelled out too much money to cancel it.
The producers let it pass. However, it was discovered later on that VE didn’t actually fly abroad, but was just—all along—lounging on a local island.
