Former teen star Jason Dohring, who played bad boy Logan Echolls in “Veronica Mars” from 2004 to 2007, will be back to reprise his role in an eight-episode miniseries/revival.

Dohring, who was also in the “Veronica Mars” film in 2014, has been acting since the ’90s, appearing in TV shows like “Baywatch,” “Picket Fences” and “Roswell” before landing the high-profile gig.

“Guess who finally joined Instagram,” he said on his first post, which also had the hashtag, “get with it, JD.” His page, barely 10 days old, has gotten over 139,000 followers, to date.

“Behind the scenes today, prepping for the summer release of ‘Veronica Mars,’” he said in another upload, confirming his inclusion in the returning show.

He also posted a pic with old costars, who happen to be close in real life: “These are my friends, Ryan Hansen and Kristen Bell. They are quite possibly two of the loveliest people in the world,” he wrote of the two former housemates and frequent collaborators.

And while he’s not looking like slim teenager Logan these days—he’s actually pretty ripped—Dohring expressed further elation that he’s back with the old gang, now all grown up.

The series will be released via Hulu on July 26. “Holy smokes. I made the trailer,” he quipped in his most recent post. —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
