Park Bo-gum’s fan meeting postponed, rescheduled to June
MANILA, Philippines — South Korean actor Park Bo-gum’s upcoming fan meeting on Saturday in Manila was postponed because of the recent earthquake.
Park announced the news on Wednesday via his Twitter account.
“#PrayForPhilippines I’d like to inform you that the event in the Philippines scheduled for April 27, Saturday, has now been postponed due to the recent earthquake,” Park wrote.
The actor also apologized to fans who have been anticipating his visit to the country.
“I apologize to all who have been waiting for the event and ask for your kind understanding,” he said.

“My heartfelt condolences and consolation to the victims of the earthquake and their families. I’ll pray for the Philippines, and may God’s protection and care always be with all people in the Philippines,” he added.

This was after a 6.1-magnitude quake struck parts of Luzon on Monday and a 6.2-magnitude quake struck Eastern Samar on Tuesday.
The fan meeting has been moved to June 22, 2019, according to a Facebook post by Park’s agency Blossom Entertainment.

“We would like to express our apology to the many fans who have been waiting for this fan meeting. But most of all, we made this decision because we think the safety of our fans is the most important. We also hope the fans would be so kind to understand,” it said.
“It is rescheduled to be held on June 22nd (Saturday) at Mall of Asia Arena. Thank you,” it added.
Park is best known for his recent drama “Encounter” with actress Song Hye-kyo. He also starred in dramas such as “Love in the Moonlight” (2016), “Reply 1988” (2015-2016), “Hello Monster” (2015), among others. /muf
