With Alicia Keys hosting the upcoming Grammy Awards, she thought it best to ask James Corden for some advice—but with a twist.

The two belted their hearts out in a parody of the Grammy Award-nominated song “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” with the lyrics tweaked in reference to Keys’ hosting the awards, as seen in a “Late Late Show” segment aired Wednesday night.

While singing to the tune, Corden—who hosted the Grammys in 2017 and 2018—first advised her to wear “comfy shoes.” After hosting, he told her that she would find herself drinking “cheap booze.”

At one point,  when Corden even told her “Don’t be scared, act like you’ve been there,” Keys hit the high note by replying, “You know I’ve won 15 times,” which is a reference to the number of Grammys she has received.

She also asked what she would do “if a speech goes long, or I hate someone’s song.” Corden, still in tune, answered her, “The host has to be polite.”

Some references were also included in the song, such as Keys’ hit “Girl on Fire,” and even hitting the after-party with Cardi B.
