Maja named as Best Actress at Asian Academy Creative Awards

Actress Maja Salvador was named Best Actress national winner for her role as “Lily Cruz” in ABS-CBN’s drama series ‘Wildflower’ at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.

“Lumalaban pa rin si Lily Cruz! Ayaw po niyang tumigil! ang laking karangalan po na mapasama po ako dito… hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala… salamat po Lord,” the actress wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Aside from Salvador, other actresses from Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan were also given the Best Actress national winner recognition.

The Gala finals will be held at Singapore’s historic Capitol Theatre in December.

The Asian Academy Creative Awards is 2018 Singapore Media Festival’s (SMF) new platform to celebrate the best of Asian storytelling. SMF also consists of the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) and ScreenSingapore, the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) and SMF Ignite.
