‘The Walking Dead’ actor Scott Wilson dies at 76
Scott Wilson who played Hershel Greene from ‘The Walking Dead’ has died at 76.
The popular television series The Walking Dead official Twitter account confirmed this on Saturday, Oct. 6 (Sunday, Oct . 7 in Manila).
“We are deeply saddened to report that Scott Wilson, the incredible actor who played Hershel on #TheWalkingDead, has passed away at the age of 76. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in paradise, Scott. We love you!” the tweet read.

Wilson had over 80 films and television credits to his name. In 2017, he played Cyrus Lounde in his last movie “Hostiles.”
Wilson played Hershel Greene from 2010 to 2014 in The Walking Dead. Although he may have been recognized more in this TV series, the actor also played key roles in CSI, Damien, Bosch and Netflix’s The OA.
His career started in the ‘60s with debut film “In The Heat of the Night” and “In Cold Blood.” /cbb
