Chris Evans says he’s ‘officially wrapped on Avengers 4’
After portraying Captain America in Marvel Cinematic Universe in the last eight years, Chris Evans said he’s “officially wrapped on Avengers 4.”
In a tweet posted on Friday, Oct. 5, Evans seemed to bid farewell to the character upon completing the still-untitled sequel to “Avengers: Infinity War.”

“It was an emotional day, to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor,” he wrote.
Evans first played the character of Captain America in 2011 Marvel film “Captain America: First Avenger.”

“Avengers 4” is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
