Veteran talent manager and columnist Lolit Solis recently took to social media to air her sentiments regarding the state of the country and politics.

Solis wrote that she found it annoying that people often go back and forth when it comes to blaming the things that have already transpired in the past, such as the martial law under the regime of the late former President Ferdinand Marcos.

“Iyon laging sinisisi iyon nangyari nung martial law, iyon Marcos regime.

Solis further wondered how the Filipino people could move forward if they kept looking back to their past. She also said that martial law seemed to have become the “fall guy” as everything was being blamed on it.

Bakit? Lahat si Marcos?”

Despite her musings, Solis claimed that she was apolitical and an emotional voter.

She added that it would be better if people just focused on work and helping one another for the betterment of the country instead of pointing fingers.

/ra
