WATCH: Anne Curtis finds missing passengers of haunted shipwreck in ‘Aurora’
After kicking butt in “BuyBust”, Anne Curtis will next show her talent via the horror film “Aurora”.
Curtis will play Leana, a girl who aims to find passengers of the sunken ship Aurora. The disaster killed thousands of people aboard, and has cursed Leana’s island with haunted mysteries, as seen in the film’s teaser trailer.
Although not much of the plot was shown in the teaser, it still promises to give audiences horror. In one scene, Curtis witnesses a figure in flames walking through a flooded house.
Curtis has impressed moviegoers with two box office hits so far, this year. Aside from Erik Matti’s “BuyBust”, the actress also starred in Irene Villamor’s “Sid & Aya: Not a love story”. She starred in the latter alongside her former “TGIS” co-star, Dingdong Dantes.
“Aurora” is directed by Yam Lanaras, who was also behind 2011’s “The Road”. The film is set to spook moviegoers on Dec. 25, as part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. JB
