Celeb wants pal to act as matchmaker
Now, everything is crystal clear.
Observers suspect that Cantankerous Busybody only befriended Controversial Star for purely selfish reasons.
Turns out the pundits are correct.
CB wants CS to act as matchmaker to save a doomed affair. CB is keenly aware that CS is extra chummy with current target: Hard-to-get Beau.
CB thinks CS is the only person who can finally seal the deal!
After all, CS had already been present in dear prospect’s life, long before CB entered frame. Perhaps CS can vouch for CB’s kind and noble heart?

Former friends are not surprised about the slew of scandals now hounding Rakish Kingpin.
Seems RK is a tad reckless.
Blame youth, but RK was notorious for experimenting, satiating the desires of swishy admirers on campus. And RK wasn’t picky about such pesky details as where and when to hold those trysts of the third kind.
RK had the tendency to strike anywhere? Yup, RK would even do the dirty deed in the loo.
Eewww!
Video jock
Even before Ravishing Muffin could make a dent in the biz, the poor kid already got involved in a sleazy scuttlebutt.
Talk about nipping one’s career in the bud.
RM was allegedly caught on video—performing certain salacious acts for the delectation of a cyber chatmate.
Clearly, it wasn’t an instructional, educational vid. Well, it provides a preview of RM’s varied skills, for the benefit of potential benefactors! Hmmm …
Under pressure
There’s a rumor going around town.
Aggressive Celebrity was initially reluctant to address a raging issue. AC’s preferred mode of response was one humongous deadma!
Unfortunately, close associates disagreed. Moreover, Big Bosses prevailed upon AC to take a more proactive stance.
In a roundabout way, the top brass forced AC to spill the beans, so to speak.
After all, AC’s livelihood is at stake.
Epic fail
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Dazzling Jezebel must’ve been brimming with confidence and (mistakenly) thought there was no need to rehearse that day.
DJ didn’t take the practice session seriously and opted to chat away with colleagues.
When it was time to perform onstage, DJ flopped big-time. DJ was horribly out of tune. Worse, DJ bungled the lyrics, too.
DJ has no one to blame but you-know-who!
Top of the show biz news
For those who missed last weekend’s show biz news on TV (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Myrtle Sarrosa on preferring to have a nonshow biz boyfriend, after being linked to Brian Llamanzares: “Kung public person ka na, I think it’s better to be with someone na hindi high-profile.” (Sabi nga ni Ate Alanis: You live; you learn.)
Bea Alonzo on overcoming body image issues: “Dati nahihiya ako sa hitsura ko. Pero when I turned 30, dun ko na-realize na OK lang naman pala.” (Sabi nga ni Ate Whitney: Learning to love yourself … )
Gretchen Barretto on laughing at a fan’s “confusing” letter to her: “We all take responsibility for what we did, we have apologized [to the letter sender] for laughing.” (Dapat lang.)
Kyline Alcantara on her family’s past struggles: “Nung Grade 2 ako, patago akong nagbebenta ng school supplies para may baon ako … Lagi kaming napapalayas at nababaon sa utang.” (No shame in being poor.)
Kris Bernal on buying a house in the United States: “I still can’t believe that we own a home there. Pure hard work.” (Bongga ka ’day!)
Isabelle de Leon on being bullied for her weight in the past: “I used it as inspiration. Instead of losing hope, I transformed the negative energy sa workout.” (Brava!)
Alden Richards on his new single: “Napapanahon at
maganda ’yung meaning ng kanta.” (How about the singing part?)
