Frank Magalona charged for touching a woman’s behind

The brother of celebrities Elmo and Maxene Magalona has been charged for touching a woman’s behind at a bar on Monday, police said.

Southern Police District Director Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr. told reporters Frank Magalona has been charged by Taguig City Police with unjust vexation for touching the buttocks of a VIP host at Revel Bar.

According to a spot report, the victim said she was pulling out alcoholic beverages when Magalona approached her, walked behind her, and pinched her behind.

She immediately reported it to her supervisor, who then sought assistance from the head bouncer which led to Magalona’s arrest.

He was briefly detained at the Taguig City police station but was released upon the city prosecutor’s order, Apolinario said.

Magalona’s camp has yet to issue a statement about the incident.
