Aiko throws back to ‘Underage’ days with Carmina, Ruffa
She was among the hottest teen stars of the early ‘90s and Aiko Melendez looked back on those days together with her fellow former teen stars and good friends Carmina Villaroel and Ruffa Gutierrez with an old photo of their iconic coming of age movie, “Underage”.

They were among the newest breed of Regal babies back in the early ‘90s. From then, they individually made starring films and were introduced with their own love teams.
In the movie, the three played sisters and daughters to Eddie Gutierrez. They were problematic teens trying to figure out life as young adults. Melendez was paired with Zoren Legaspi, Carmina Villaroel with Robert Ortega and Ruffa Gutierrez with former actor Denniz Da Silva.
